This is a 15-year-old single malt from Highland Park, made on the Orkney Islands in Scotland. Viking Heart was matured in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks.
The whisky is described as smoky, with honey, dried fruit and spice. The nose offers roasted peat, honey, orange peel, nuts and a little spice. On the palate it is full and round, with smoke, dried fruit and vanilla. The finish is long and warm, with a spicy edge and lingering smoke.
