Highland Park 16 Year Old Between You and I is a special edition Orkney single malt, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It was made in collaboration with the Swedish three-star chef Björn Frantzén. This is the first Highland Park bottling to use casks of virgin Swedish oak, which are combined with ex-bourbon casks and sherry-seasoned casks of European and American oak. It is non-chill-filtered and has natural colour.
The nose brings vanilla, citrus and orange, then marzipan, nutmeg and Christmas baking, with a touch of crème brûlée. The palate is intense and full, with spice and European oak. The finish is balanced, warming and dry, with subtle citrus.
