Highland Park 17 Year Old The Light was bottled in 2017 at 52.9% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in refill American oak casks, and 28,000 bottles were produced.
The nose offers vanilla, oats, ripe pears and mild wood-fire embers. The palate is supple and sweet at first, with icing sugar and tangerines, before darker, spicier notes develop. The finish is lengthy, with spicy cedar oil.
