This is an 18 year old peated single malt from Highland Park on Orkney, bottled by Signatory Vintage as part of its Decanter Collection. It was distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2024 at 52% ABV, in a 70cl decanter.
The whisky matured in hogsheads. It is non-chill-filtered and free of added colouring.
It is described as combining soft peat with deeper smoky aromas from malted barley dried over peat smoke. During its years in the hogsheads, the spicy smoke picked up creamy and fruity notes.
