This travel edition of Highland Park 18 Year Old comes from the Orkney distillery, founded in 1798. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle and presented in a gift box.
The whisky matured in sherry and oak casks. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose combines ripe dark fruit, honey, spice and light peat smoke. The palate is full, with sherried oak, dried fruit, sweet malt and subtle spice. The finish is long, soft and balanced, with a gentle smoky note.
