Highland Park 18 Year Old Young Siward is Act Two of the Macbeth Collection, which draws on Shakespeare's tragedy. It is a single malt from Orkney, bottled by Elixir Distillers at 50.8% in a 70cl bottle, in an edition of 650 bottles.
It matured entirely in first fill sherry hogsheads and is neither chill-filtered nor coloured.
The nose is sweet honey, flowering heather and fine spice. On the palate come ripe fruit, creamy vanilla honey and a touch of ginger. The finish is long, with floral notes, a subtle oak tone and gentle warmth.
