Highland Park Viking Pride is an 18 year old single malt from the Orkney Islands, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It matured largely in first fill sherry seasoned casks of both European and American oak. The label describes it as full-bodied and refined.
The nose is usually described as soft peat and smoke, followed by maraschino cherry, orange, cinnamon, apricot, chocolate and honey. The palate is spicier than the nose, with heather, sea salt and caramel. The finish is medium in length, salty and smoky, with chocolate.
