Highland Park 21 Year Old is an Orkney single malt, here in its November 2019 release, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured for over two decades in a combination of sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks.
Only a limited number of bottles were released.
The nose has heather honey, crushed citrus peel and hints of cinnamon. The palate brings dark chocolate, ripe apricots, roasted nuts and gentle peat smoke, and the finish is long and warming with sweet oak and a touch of smoky spice.
