Highland Park – 21 Years Old 1984 The Ambassador's Cask (70cl, 56.1%)

This is a single cask Highland Park single malt, distilled in 1984 and bottled in 2005 at 21 years old. It comes from the Islands and is bottled at a cask strength of 56.1% in a 70cl bottle. The cask was selected by Gerry Tosh, Highland Park's first Ambassador, which gives the bottling its name. The producer's notes describe a powerful, sweet sherry note on the nose that opens to toffee and candied fruit. The palate is sweet, moving to smoky fruit, and the finish is long and buttery.
