Highland Park 30 Year Old 2019 Release is a single malt from Orkney, bottled at 45.2% ABV in natural colour in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was distilled in 1989 and earlier, and matured for three decades in bourbon and first-fill sherry hogsheads. The edition was limited to 2,667 bottles worldwide.
Vanilla, honey, dark chocolate and nuts come with a touch of heather smoke on the nose. Toffee and caramel meet citrus, nut chocolate and a gentle, rustic smoke on the palate. The finish is very long and soft, with aniseed, fresh oak and subtle smokiness.
