This is an 18 year old single malt from Orkney, bottled as a single cask at 60.7% in a 70cl bottle. The spirit was distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2023 by Whisk-e LTD as a Japan exclusive, after maturing in a refill sherry hogshead.
The nose offers honey with a little smoke, followed by pepper, black tea leaf and heather. On the palate it is sweet and honeyed, with light peat smoke, ginger sugar and white pepper. The finish is long and spicy-sweet, with yellow fruit in the background.
