Highland Park Cask Strength Release No. 3 is an unfiltered Orkney single malt, bottled at 64.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a selection of sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks.
The nose is typically described as dried fruits, heather honey and crushed spices, with a whiff of aromatic peat. On the palate come toffee, dark chocolate, charred oak and warming cinnamon. The finish is long and smoky-sweet, with a touch of salted liquorice and lingering spice.
