This is the third release in the Cask Strength series from Highland Park, bottled at 64.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle with no water added to reduce the strength.
The whisky is mainly a vatting of first-fill sherry-seasoned casks, both American and European, chosen for their powerful peat by Gordon Motion, the distillery's master blender.
It is described as having candied citrus and peat mingled with honey.
