Highland Park – Full Volume 17 Year Old (47.2%)

Full Volume is a 17 year old single malt from Highland Park, distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2017 at 47.2% ABV. It was matured entirely in Kosher certified ex-bourbon casks rather than the sherry casks more often associated with the distillery. The aim was to bring forward the creamy character that bourbon wood gives the spirit. The flavour is described as creamy vanilla and light citrus fruit, with Highland Park's smokiness running through and keeping everything in balance.
