Highland Park Ice Edition is a limited 17-year-old single malt from the Orkney islands, bottled at 53.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It matured in first-fill bourbon casks, has a natural colour and carries a light peat character that adds a subtle smokiness.
The bottle is made of blue glass and sits in a wooden holder shaped like a mountain.
Fresh pineapple, ripe mango sorbet and a touch of ginger lead the nose. The palate is powerful yet sweet, with silvery peat smoke, vanilla and orris root. The finish is balanced, creamy, woody and spicy.
