This is Highland Park Hillhead, Part V of the Keystone Series, a single malt bottled at 46% abv in a 70cl bottle. It was first released in 2018 to celebrate cask harmonisation, one of five keystones of production at Highland Park.
The whisky was matured in three kinds of cask: European oak sherry, American oak sherry and American oak bourbon. The aim of harmonisation is a rounded whisky with a distinctive character and a long finish. This release ran to 1,200 bottles.
