Highland Park – Quercus Keystone Series Part Three Limited Edition (70cl, 48.3%)

Quercus is the third release in the Highland Park Keystone series, a limited edition Orkney single malt bottled at 48.3% in a 70cl bottle. Only 1200 bottles were produced, and it was released in 2017. It was matured entirely in first-fill, sherry-seasoned European oak casks. The oak is made into casks in Jerez, filled with Oloroso sherry for about two years, then shipped to Orkney. The whisky is described as balanced, with rich fruitcake and smoky peat, and it has a natural golden colour.
