Highland Park – Scottish Ballet 50 (70cl, 40%)

Highland Park Scottish Ballet 50 is a single malt Scotch whisky released in 2019 to mark 50 years of Scottish Ballet. Master Whisky Maker Gordon Motion aimed for a flavour as rich and dramatic as ballet itself. Only 5,000 bottles were released, and each sale supports the company's outreach programme across Scotland. Bottled at 40%, it matured in first-fill sherry-seasoned American oak casks with a smaller share of refill casks. It is described as sweet, with caramelised pineapple, Madeira cake and spiced aniseed, and a finish of aromatic peat smoke.
