Highland Park Spirit of the Bear is a single malt from the Orkney distillery, bottled at 40% in a 1 litre bottle. It belongs to the travel retail range and takes the bear as its symbol, standing for strength, resilience and independence.
The whisky was matured in former sherry casks.
The nose is intensely smoky, with ginger, nutmeg and sweet vanilla. The palate is full and robust, with orange peel, toasted malt and a touch of honey alongside gentle smoke. The finish is smoky and of medium length, with sandalwood and a pleasant vanilla sweetness.
