Highland Park – The Dark 17 Year Old Sherry Cask (70cl, 52.9%)

This is a 17 year old single malt from Highland Park, bottled at 52.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was the first release in a series that Highland Park launched in 2017. The whisky has been matured only in sherry-seasoned European oak casks. It comes in an embossed black glass bottle, and the serpent dragon design draws on the Norse sagas, with the high sun of the summer solstice and the low sun of the winter solstice. The runic lettering echoes the carvings of Viking ancestors.
