The Dolphins is a single malt from Highland Park, made as an officially licensed whisky for the bars and shops at the Royal Navy's Faslane base in Scotland. It followed the distillery's 2016 Battle of Jutland commemorative bottling for the Royal Navy, and was released in 2018 in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured mainly in refill casks, together with first-fill sherry-seasoned European and American oak and ex-bourbon casks.
It is described as light but richly layered, with vanilla, bananas, lemon peel, toasted oak and white pepper, alongside light, aromatic peat.
