Highland Park The Light 17 Year Old is a limited edition Orkney single malt, bottled at 52.9% in a 70cl bottle. It was inspired by the idea of dark and light in balance, and comes in a bottle embossed with a serpent-dragon.
The whisky was created to celebrate warm summer days in Orkney. It spent 17 years in refill American oak casks, which have a gentler influence than first-fill European oak.
It is described as light and bright, with caramelised pear, nutmeg, vanilla, cedarwood and lightly smoked peat.
