Highland Park – Triskelion (70cl, 45.1%)

Highland Park Triskelion is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 45.1% ABV. Three Highland Park whisky makers, Gordon Motion, Max McFarlane and John Ramsay, joined forces to create it. They chose and married three main cask types to explore how wood and cask seasoning shape the spirit: first-fill sherry-seasoned Spanish oak butts, first-fill sherry-seasoned American oak casks, and first-fill bourbon barrels and hogsheads. A small number of refill casks completes the vatting. It is described as having stone fruit, citrus and peat smoke.
