Highland Park Viking Heart is a 15 year old single malt from Orkney, in a 70cl bottle, dressed in the distillery's Viking-themed look. It is matured in sherry-seasoned European oak, sherry-seasoned American oak and a small share of refill casks.
The nose offers crème brûlée, heather honey and a touch of cinnamon, with fresh pineapple and lemon zest. On the palate there is warm sponge cake and toasted cinnamon, while citrus and vanilla run through layers of aromatic peat smoke.
