Highland Park Viking Scars is a peated single malt from Orkney, aged for 10 years in a mix of American and European oak sherry casks. The combination brings sweetness, smoke and spice.
The nose opens with orange, vanilla and light peat smoke. The palate is fresh and lively, with honey, citrus and subtle spice, and the peat is present without dominating. The finish is medium to long, with oak and a little smokiness.
