A Canadian blended whisky from J.P. Wiser's, matured for at least 18 years and bottled at 40% ABV. It is made at Hiram Walker & Sons in Windsor, Ontario.
Oak shapes the character of this blend, joined by baked apple, spice and caramel.
The nose is led by oak and autumn blossom with a hint of fresh pine, sweet apples and peony. On the palate, sweet caramel opens the way for dry oak, cinnamon and allspice, with baked apple alongside. The finish is long and soft, with clove, a light rye note, apple and caramel.
