Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 is a Tennessee whiskey from the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, here in a 3 litre bottle at 40% ABV.
It is made by the Lincoln County Process from a sour mash and matured in charred American oak. The distillery was established in 1866.
The nose is caramel, vanilla and toasted oak, with corn sweetness and a charcoal character. On the palate it is smooth, with caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, corn and light wood spice. The finish is warm and medium in length, with caramel and vanilla.
