Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye is a 2020 Special Release from the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. It is a Tennessee straight rye in a 75cl bottle, bottled from a single barrel at natural cask strength without dilution.
The mash bill is 70% rye, 18% corn and 12% malted barley. The whiskey is mellowed through charcoal using the Lincoln County Process.
The nose is intense with rye spice, pepper and grain, over caramel, charred oak and vanilla. The palate is bold, with cinnamon, pepper, grain and charred oak. The finish is long and assertive, with rye spice, oak and caramel.
