Jack Daniel's Tennessee Travelers Sweet & Oaky is a straight Tennessee whiskey from the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, in a 50cl bottle at 53.5% ABV, which is 107 proof. It is non-chill filtered.
The mash bill is 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye. The spirit is mellowed through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal, then matured in new charred American oak barrels.
The nose brings caramel, vanilla bean and toasted oak. On the palate sweet cooked corn leads, with oak char and honeyed spice. The finish is long, with toasted wood and dried brown sugar.
