This is an American single malt from the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, made from 100% malted barley and bottled at 45% ABV. It is produced with the Lincoln County Process.
The spirit is first aged in new American oak and then moved to a second barrel for further maturation, which is where the name comes from. The second barrel adds oak influence from two separate casks.
The nose combines malt, toasted cereal, caramel and vanilla with soft oak. The palate is honeyed malt, caramel and toasted wood, and the finish is long and smooth, with malt sweetness and warm oak.
