Journeyman Buggy Whip Wheat is an organic wheat whiskey from Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks, Michigan, bottled at 45% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The mashbill is 100% organic Michigan-grown wheat. It is distilled once, aged in new charred American oak barrels and blended to profile for each batch.
The nose shows cooked wheat, caramel and vanilla with a little earthy nuttiness. The palate is soft and sweet, with caramel, orange peel and leather, and the finish carries spiced leather and caramel.
