Journeyman Corsets, Whips & Whiskey is a single barrel American wheat whiskey, bottled at cask strength in a 75cl bottle. It is made from 100% organic Michigan wheat, pot distilled and aged in new charred American oak.
The name refers to the distillery's home, a converted corset and buggy whip factory in Three Oaks, Michigan. Each barrel is bottled without blending or reducing, so strength and character vary from one to the next.
The nose is spicy vanilla with nutmeg, cinnamon and beeswax. The palate is soft and creamy, with crème brûlée, orange marmalade and baked apple, and the finish is long, with banana, caramel and gently drying oak.
