Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14 (70cl, 58.3%)

Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14 is a Campbeltown single malt, bottled at 58.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is an original bottling from the distillery. Kilkerran is the name used for whisky from Glengyle Distillery, as Glengyle itself cannot be used on the label. The name comes from the Gaelic name of the first settlement on the Kintyre peninsula. Glengyle was founded in 1872 and closed in 1925. After the owners of Springbank set up Mitchell's Glengyle Ltd in 2000, the distillery was fully renovated. It has produced whisky again since 2004, the first new distillery in Campbeltown in 125 years.
