Koval Single Barrel Rye is made from 100% rye grain, sourced from a local organic farmer collective in the Midwest. Only the heart cut of the distillate is used, with no heads or tails, and the whiskey is aged in new American oak. It is described as fresh and light despite being all rye. The entry is maple-like with a hint of candy corn, and a touch of spice arrives on the finish.
