Kujira 8 Year Old is a Japanese single grain whisky from Kumesen Distillery in Okinawa, made from 100% indica rice. It is aged for a minimum of eight years in American bourbon and Spanish sherry casks. Okinawa's subtropical climate speeds maturation and increases the contact between spirit and wood. The whisky is naturally sweet, with vanilla and oak from the bourbon casks and layers of dried fruit from the sherry.
