Kurayoshi 12 Year Old is a Japanese pure malt from the Matsui Shuzo distillery in the Tottori region. It is matured for twelve years in oak casks and bottled at 43%.
The whisky is made with water from Mount Daisen.
The nose combines honey, vanilla, light smoky accents and soft wood. The palate is full and creamy, with caramel, ripe fruit and subtle spice. The finish is long, pairing sweet malt with warming oak.
