Kurayoshi Pure Malt Blended Malt Japanese Whisky (43%)

A Japanese blended malt from Matsui Shuzo, bottled in 2016 at 43% ABV without an age statement. The distillery stands in Kurayoshi, in Tottori Prefecture, at the foot of Mount Daisen. Pure regional water and marked swings in temperature shape how the whisky is made and matured. Malt, raisins, nuts, vanilla and spice are the flavours associated with it, together with a fresh character.
