Laphroaig – 21 Year Old Heathrow Terminal 5 (48%)

A 21 year old Laphroaig made to mark the 2008 opening of Heathrow's Terminal 5. Distillery manager John Campbell combined whisky from nine selected casks, laid down in the mid-1980s and matured beside the Atlantic. It is bottled at 48% ABV, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, in an edition of 750 individually numbered bottles. The whisky is described as medicinal peat softened into sweet vanilla, tropical fruit and polished oak.
