Mac-Talla Oloroso is an Islay single malt from Morrison Distillers, released in 2024. It matured entirely in ten sherry casks from the Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin in Jerez, Spain.
Three quarters of the whisky came from first fill casks and a quarter from refill sherry butts. After seven years the two parts were vatted together for three months.
It was bottled unfiltered and without colouring at 54.8% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
