Mars Komagatake Single Cask is a Japanese whisky from the Mars distillery at Nagano, Komagatake, in a 70cl bottle. Mars Shinshu also operates the more recently opened Tsunuki Distillery in Kagoshima.
The nose is vanilla and malty. The palate is sweet, with vanilla and malt rounded off by star anise and spicy pepper. The finish lingers at the back of the tongue with salt and spice.
