This is a Japanese pure malt whisky from Masahiro, in a 75cl bottle at 43% ABV.
It spent more than three years in old sherry butts and bourbon casks, followed by at least six months in a Jack Daniel's first-fill bourbon barrel.
The nose is sweet and balanced, with citrus, pineapple, banana and other tropical fruit alongside mellow vanilla ice cream. The palate is light-bodied, with delicate malt, a hint of ginger juice and pale woody notes. The finish is short and mellow, with lingering spice.
