The Kurayoshi 8 Year Old is a Japanese pure malt from Matsui, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from hand-picked malt whisky and mellow water from the Kurayoshi area, beneath Mount Daisen.
The flavour is led by a sweet, fruity note of dried orange. Vanilla and nuts stand out against a savoury-sweet aroma, and the mouthfeel is smooth.
