The Kurayoshi Sherry Cask is a Japanese pure malt from Matsui, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from hand-picked malt whisky and mellow water from the Kurayoshi area, beneath Mount Daisen.
The aroma is sweet, with fruit and chocolate, and sits alongside a citrus flavour reminiscent of lemongrass. The aroma is balanced and the finish is smooth and lingering.
