This is a single-barrel Indiana bourbon from MGP, bottled for the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as B7.12, Foraging Fruits Of The Forest. It was distilled on 19th December 2016 and matured in a first-fill #4 char barrel, and 204 bottles were produced. The mash bill is 60% corn, 36% rye and 4% malted barley.
The notes describe a floral, perfumed nose. On the palate come Ovaltine hot chocolate and blueberry muffins, then fig rolls, caramel bars and toffee cookies once water is added, with a nutty espresso martini of coffee and walnut.
