Midleton Very Rare 2024 is an Irish whiskey blended from whiskeys aged between 12 and 33 years in ex-bourbon casks. Three master distillers have shaped the series: Barry Crockett, Brian Nation and, most recently, Kevin O'Gorman. It opens with succulent fruit, a distinctive creaminess and a herbal note like chamomile tea. Pot still spices run through floral grain character, and charred oak builds over time, with wood spices alongside candied orange and dried apricot.
