Morris Muscat Barrels Australian Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Morris Muscat Barrels is an Australian single malt from Morris of Rutherglen in north-eastern Victoria, a family business that has made fortified wines for six generations and has produced whisky since 2016. It is made from locally grown barley and water from the Snowy Mountains, and distilled in a reconditioned copper pot still from the 1930s. The whisky first matured in French and American oak wine casks from Barossa and Coonawarra, then in the distillery's own Muscat barrels. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, with no added colour. It is known for rich dark and dried fruit and sweet malt, moving to vanilla and cocoa.
