Islay Trilogy II is a 34-year-old Islay blended malt from the independent bottler Murray McDavid, one of three blends in its Mission Gold series. It combines single malts from Bowmore and Laphroaig.
The whisky matured from 1988 to 2022, first in refill bourbon hogsheads and then in a Cognac cask finish. It was bottled at cask strength, 52.1%, without added colouring or chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle. The release comprises 347 bottles.
