Nikka Malt Club (70cl, 40%)

Nikka Malt Club is a Japanese blended whisky made from malt whisky and Coffey malt. It first appeared in 1990 as the successor to Nikka's All Malt, with a higher proportion of Coffey malt than its predecessor. The malts come from both pot stills and Coffey stills, and the blend is aged in oak casks. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle and carries no age statement. The aroma is sweet and soft, with hints of vanilla and fruit. The palate is well balanced with a gentle sweetness, leading to a clean, crisp finish. It has no strong peat or smoke.
