Old Forester 100 Proof is an American whisky from the Old Forester Distilling Co., bottled at 50% in a one-litre bottle. It has a mahogany colour. The nose is intense sweet coffee with chocolate, creamy caramel and a touch of liquorice. On the palate there is ripe apple and other sweet fruit, bakery spices of clove and nutmeg, and toasted oak. The finish is sweet and light, with oak and apple lingering.
