Old Forester 1870 Original Batch is a Kentucky bourbon that marks the year George Garvin Brown founded Old Forester in Louisville. It follows Brown's own method of marrying barrels from different distilleries to keep the flavour consistent. Barrels from three distilleries are chosen, each with its own production date, entry proof and age. The three Old Forester expressions are then combined with minimal filtration to make this bottling.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
